How to Install Blizzard in Baator

Mod Requirements

The Blizzard in Baator mod requires a full version of Planescape: Torment: Enhanced Edition from any distribution platform (such as Steam or GOG). Currently, the complete and playable Act I of the modification is available.

  • Planescape: Torment: Enhanced Edition contains a bug (which has not yet been patched) that resets all containers – and sometimes areas and characters as well – every time the player travels to the Modron Maze using the Modron Cube.
  • This bug can be fixed using the Generalized Biffing tool. You can download Generalized Biffing for free from the Spellhold Studios modding community website. If you intend to play only the expansion and skip the Modron Cube entirely, Generalized Biffing is not required.

You can start the expansion from an existing save file, or skip ahead by boosting your character’s progress to jump straight into the new locations. You can read more about how to start the mod after installation here.

  2. Run the file Setup-BlizzardInBaator.exe.
  3. Select your preferred language for dialogues and audio, then follow the prompts to complete the installation.
  4. Once the installation finishes successfully, launch Planescape: Torment: Enhanced Edition and either start a new game or load your previous save.

If you encounter any bugs or technical issues after installation, please copy or screenshot the error message and contact the Blizzard in Baator team via email at cania.believe.it [at] gmail.com (replace [at] with @). Alternatively, you can reach out to us on Discord.
