Suicide Falls
The Sigilian equivalent of a „Lover’s Leap,” the Suicide Falls enjoys a grim reputation. Many lost, rejected, or otherwise troubled lovers have met their end here.

Near the entrance to the Suicide Falls, you will encounter an addicted woman. If the Nameless One has previously dealt with Sensory Stones, he will recognize that the woman is holding one. The Nameless One can convince her to show him the stone (requires 16+ Charisma) and experience the memory contained within. A sufficiently high Wisdom or Intelligence score (16+) will allow you to deduce that the memory originates from Elysium. If you additionally convince the woman that anyone can reach Elysium if they re-evaluate their life, you will gain experience points. Alternatively, you can steal the Sensory Stone or take it by force.
The girl in the red dress is tied to a quest involving stealing the clothes of a naked dandy (from the beach side-location – the dead end). The woman will admit that she has already sold the clothes at the district market.
Overlooking the cliff, you will meet Mahalai Trevisti and a young woman who has decided to end her life by throwing herself into the abyss. Mahalai is a member of the Fated faction who has made it his goal to free others from the burden of mortal existence. He will offer you a contract under which you surrender all your belongings to him, allowing you to depart unburdened by ruinous materialism.
A Nameless One with high enough Intelligence (20+) will spot serious flaws in the contract. Fall-from-Grace will also notice them, provided you ask for her opinion. You can outsmart Mahalai, strip him of the contract, terrify him into fleeing (with Vhailor’s help, for instance), or kill him (e.g., by pushing him off the cliff edge). You will find a forged dead-man’s contract on his corpse.
On the platform, you will meet Zack and Sonne, a bickering pair of lovers. The protagonist has multiple ways to resolve their conflict, including convincing one party to see things from the other’s perspective. You can also escalate the dispute by claiming that Sonne is manipulative, or convince the woman that Zack is just using her. Depending on how you resolve the issue, the dialogue can end in the lovers’ reconciliation, their breakup, or even a fight. Completing the quest can reward you with an item called „Mask of Sonne” (+1 to Charisma and Armor Class).
The Modron wandering around the Cascade is connected to a quest for Agraval– the fiend you meet in „The Styx Oarsman.”
Pabeshts is an employee of the Office of Vermin and Disease Control. Several factors can influence dialogue sequences with this character, including whether the Nameless One has previously dealt with Coaxmetal or the Modron Cube, or if he has visited the Office of Vermin and Disease Control located in the Hive.
Pabeshts also possesses a device for storing creatures in a compressed form; demonstrating it will release an aggressive slime. Once you deal with the slime, Pabeshts will task you with repairing the device, which requires obtaining a golem shard.
Unfortunately, the golem went missing in the Ditch when Lothar (its owner) sent it on a mission to retrieve a shard of a distinctive metallic blade – legendly rumored to be a piece of the Lady of Pain’s crown.
The golem can be found in the „Knife in the River” location, but to get there, you first need to find a trained navigator. Fortunately, you already know one – the captain from the beach with whom you sailed to the Ditch.
